I want to talk one more time about Showcases. As you may have heard or seen as a regular visitor of Game Conference Guide, the website now tracks Showcases.
All the Nintendo Directs, State of Plays, Xbox Showcases, and small broadcasts coming from various publishers, developers, communities, game premieres but also major updates to upcoming and existing games.
The new feature launched without a calendar, and I am pleased to share with you, that from now on you can add all the Showcases into your favourite calendar app, or you can just add the one you are aiming to watch.
NOTE: For EU visitors, some Japanese or events broadcasted late in the afternoon from Pacific Coast might show a different day, the reason is I am based in Croatia and the calendar is GMT+2.
Calendar of Showcases comes with a reminder, it will pop a notification about upcoming showcase 24 hours before the broadcast starts. And they do have a green colour in the Calendar, where you can find Deadlines and Events as well all in one place.
Now, Showcases are hard to track. Some are added retroactively and those with finished broadcast have updated links to the on-demand version (I am prioritizing YouTube, if possible) so you can rewatch them in full any time you want. Some are being announced day before, which of course makes tracking a bit tricky and very time consuming.
With a full time job, it is almost impossible to be up-to-date with everything. Game Conference Guide is a passion project and I will continue updating it for everyone out there.
If you want to keep it available free of charge to everyone and you are getting value out of it, consider turning your free subscription to paid. And if you are not sure, you can join these amazing people: Jeanette, Kate, Takaaki, Damir, Masatoshi, Erik, Robin, Mateusz, Justin, Tobi & Jay and buy me a coffee on Patreon.
You can cancel after the first month, I won’t get mad. If you are not into coffee, send me a message how you are using website, or how it helped you to find new events. This way I am learning Game Conference Guide is still relevant and it brings value to you.
